You don’t want to miss seeing and experiencing this fascinating documentary! Route 60 The Biblical Highway brings the Old & New Testaments to life through a guided tour of 146-mile Route 60 that is often referred to as the “Path of Patriarchs” running north to south, and connecting Ancient Israel with Modern Israel. World-changing diplomats David Friedman and Mike Pompeo are the tour guides giving great insights from their unique backgrounds. I will probably never be able to travel to Israel, so this stunning visual documentary is fascinating and intriguing at the same time. I could watch this over and over, and still learn so many things bringing to life what I have read and studied from both the Old and New Testaments since a child. I love how Biblical text/narration is a part of each of the tour stops which really makes it all connect for me. Also, prayer is a great theme throughout this tour. I especially loved the tour stop sharing Hannah’s prayer for a child. The visual aspect of this documentary is stunning with the beautiful landscape and scenery. Seeing where Abraham walked, where King David lived, and where Jesus walked is very compelling. I would encourage you to make the effort to go to the theater tonight or tomorrow night to see Route 60 The Biblical Highway!
Synopsis:
One thing that would be of encouragement to me when it comes to seeing this movie is having it available on DVD and streaming after it leaves the theaters for its 2 day running period. I would still love to see this movie and witness all the great Biblical history from Israel.
I think a DVD would be great! There is so much to learn from this!
I would love to see this movie. The focus of prayer interests me.
Yes, Laura, it is interesting especially about Hannah!
I love the fact they can do this and allow everyone to see on tv. I will never get to travel over seas so this is amazing and just the short clip alone was powerful and encouraging to see since I never even knew about route 60. This would be a great thing for families to sit down and watch together to learn ecspecially if your more hands on and the Bible is sometimes hard to understand.
I didn’t know about Route 60
Before this either. It’s so interesting to see how it ties the Old and New Testaments together.
